3a. The father was probably thinking that his life was over he couldn't support his family. he didn't want to let his family on the streets. He thought he was a failure so he decide to kill his family and him so they wouldn't suffer poverty.
b.The best thing to do in a economical situation is just to help your kids in any way u can help with education. Help them in their needs. Then last but not least is just to council them in problems in school and in life situations.
